The skin is the body’s largest organ. Although there are several skin ailments but we will talk about the three that are more of cosmetic nature and not life threatening. Those three are Acne, Eczema & Psoriasis. Several options are available for the natural treatment of these.

All these skin problems come from the inside so no amount of creams or lotions can cure it unless we work from the inside and fix the root cause.

Let’s see how can we address these skin problems from the inside without the use of allopathic medicines which suppress these from the outside by applying creams, ointments etc.

Acne
Most teenagers have some acne and it can cause great emotional distress at an age when many are very self-conscious; it is much less common in other age groups. Linked to androgens, male sex hormones, that are present in both boys and girls, acne vulgaris, as this type is known, affects particularly the face but may also appear on other areas, especially the upper back, chest, shoulders and neck.

Acne is indicative of deeper issues in the body and applying creams will not cure it.

In our experience upto 90% of the cases of acne in boys are due to poor digestive system and in girls it is due to poor digestive system or periods problems or both.

Here is what you can do if you have acne:

  • Eat a balanced diet to ensure that you don’t have constipation. Read this article https://www.payaftercure.com/best-natural-permanent-cure-of-constipation/ to ensure that you are constipation free.
  • Sleep enough so that you wake up without an alarm clock which means that you had as much sleep as your body requires.
  • If your acne is still bad after doing the above for 4 weeks, then seek homeopathic treatment to fix the underlying cause.
  • Upto 80% of your skin can be cleared within 2-3 months with homeopathic treatment

Natural treatment of Acne with homeopathy
Some of the most commonly indicated homeopathic medicines for acne are Sulphur, Silica, Pulsatilla, Kalium bromatum, Calcarea sulphurica etc. You can read about them in a Materia Medica (the book which contains all the symptoms of these remedies) and see if one fits your symptoms the most. If it does, take one dose in 30 potency and see how it affects you.

If you want to avoid the trial & error, you can consult a homeopath or us online. We offer treatment with the promise of No Cure – No Pay! There is no payment upfront, you only pay after a month of treatment & that too if you are fully satisfied with the results.

Eczema
Also known as dermatitis, eczema is among the commonest forms of skin disease. It is an inflammatory condition in which patches of skin become red, inflamed and itchy. The affected areas may also be covered in small, fluid-filled blisters. There are a number of different forms of eczema.

The commonest form is atopic eczema, an inborn condition which usually starts before the age of two, and may continue to flare up throughout adolescence and adulthood. “Atopy” means an inherited tendency to allergies, including eczema, asthma and hay fever. It usually runs in families.

Seborrhoeic dermatitis occurs in adult and infantile forms. In babies it is often known as cradle cap because it affects the scalp, although it may also affect the nappy area. The adult form usually affects the face and scalp.

Finally varicose eczema occurs mostly in older people, as the name suggests it is often linked to varicose veins: the blood stagnates in the lower legs resulting in a poor supply of oxygen and nutrients. The skin becomes dark, itchy and inflamed. If left untreated the skin may break down, forming an ulcer.

Homeopathic treatment
Most commonly used homeopathic remedies for the treatment of eczema are: Arsenicum album, Graphites, Sulphur. Arsenicum iodatum, Lycopodium and Sepia.

You can read about them in a Materia Medica (the book which contains all the symptoms of these remedies) and see if one fits your symptoms the most. If it does, take one dose in 30 potency and see how it affects you.

Psoriasis
This too comes in several varieties, but all involve reddened areas of skin covered in large, adherent silvery scales. Psoriasis tends to run in families; it most commonly comes on in late teenage or early adult life. It can be triggered by some medicines, including antidepressant, antihypertensive and antimalarial drugs, and infections with streptococcus bacteria.

The main types of psoriasis are:

Plaque psoriasis: the patches appear typically on the knees, elbows, lower back and scalp. Unlike eczema, the patches often appear on the extensor (outer) sides of knees and elbows. The nails may develop small pits, or more serious deformity.
Guttate psoriasis, where the patches are scattered, small and roundish, may follow a streptococcal infection, typically a severe sore throat.
Pustular psoriasis, a severe but rare type affecting mostly the palms and soles.

Homeopathic treatment
Most commonly used homeopathic remedies for the treatment of psoriasis are: Arsenicum album, Graphites, Sulphur. Arsenicum iodatum, Lycopodium and Sepia.

Since homeopathy is holistic: to treat a skin problem, one has to look at the whole person, not just at their skin.
