What are Schuessler Salts and how to use them

The 12 Schuessler salts a.k.a Bio Chemic Salts were formulated by Dr. William H. Schuessler of Oldenburg, Germany. These salts are believed to be crucial to the health of the body in treating & at times preventing several diseases.

Following is a summary of their uses & guidelines for using them.

Potency: 3x or 6x (Both are fine, you can use either based on availability)

Dosage:
Low to Medium health issues: 1 tablet can be taken upto 4 times a day till releif.
Severe health issues: 3 tablets can be taken upto 4 times a day till relief.
If health problem worsens after the dose, stop the remedy & consult a doctor/homeopath.
In case the health problem keeps returning as soon as the dosage is stopped then you need homeopathic remedies in higher potencies (30, 200 or higher) prescribed by a homeopath for permanent cure.

Calcium fluoride – Calc fluor
Health issues of: Skin, connective tissue, tooth enamel, joints and bones.
Overall the patient feels better with: Heat in general; hot weather; hot applications; rubbing.
Overall the patient feels worse with: Damp and cold weather; physical motion.

Calcium phosphate – Calc phos
Health issues of: Teeth and bones.
Overall the patient feels better with: Lying down; resting; warmth.

Calcium sulphate – Calc sulph
Health issues of: Skin e.g. Dandruff. Pimples. Boils. Has a cleansing effect throughout the system. Assists in the removal of waste via the lymphatic system.
